On January 19th, 2024, CEDECOM joined the 4th Edition of the Osabarima Royal Awards celebration with a captivating presentation on investment opportunities in Cape Coast. The Osabarima Royal Awards recognizes outstanding businesses, institutions, and personalities who have contributed immensely to Cape Coast's development. CEDECOM's achievement is a testament to its unparalleled dedication to excellence, innovation, and service to Cape Coast. The event, held at the Conference Room of the Ridge Royal Hotel in Cape Coast, united leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members alike under the theme “Our People, Our Resources, Our Business! Think Ogua”
The presentation showcased a diverse range of investment prospects in different sectors of the local economy, with a particular focus on business investment. The sectors included real estate, agro-processing, digital services, creative arts, fashion industry, sanitation, and recreational parks. The presentation highlighted on the city's potential, challenges, and opportunities for economic growth and sustainability, and emphasized the importance of investing in modern farming techniques, advanced irrigation systems, and organic practices, aimed at empowering local farmers, enhancing food security, and promoting sustainable livelihoods through innovative agribusiness ventures.
Mr Gabriel Fiatui, Head of Investment Promotion, CEDECOM who made the presentation on behalf the Executive Director, CEDECOM, underscored CEDECOM's role as a key facilitator in the economic and social development of the Central Region. Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II, Omanhen of the Oguaa traditional area commended the Commission for their continuous support to the local economy and encouraged individuals and organizations to join hands in the realization of the shared vision of Oguaman.
